Terezín was a master propaganda project of Adolf Eichmann, used to deceive the world about the treatment of Jews.
Between 1941 and 1945, over 155,000 Jews, mainly from the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria were sent to Terezín.
While many tours focus only on the Small Fortress (concentration camp), we also emphasize the Jewish history of Terezín ghetto.
To see all the significant sites of the Terezín Ghetto, one would need to spend at least three full days in the town. Our tours focus on Jewish history but do not follow a strict itinerary. Each tour is slightly different, shaped by the interests of our visitors and the intuition of our experts. We usually include key sites such as the Ghetto Museum, the Hidden Synagogue, and the Children's Barracks. The rest of the program remains flexible, based on the intuition of our colleagues or the specific requests of visitors, allowing for deeper exploration and meaningful discussion.
